A family friendly alternative to door to door trick-or-treating!
From 6:00pm to 8:00pm our parking lot will be FULL of cars with trunks full of candy and toys. Come trick or treat around the trunks then enjoy some food from a local food truck before you go explore the fire truck from the Richland Fire Department! Then, head inside where there is a bounce house and other activities. There will be something for everyone!
Light the Night is a free event. The free event includes trunks with candy and toys, a bounce house, and free hot chocolate and campfires where you can sit and warm up. There are some optional food vendor trucks who charge money for their product.
This event is targeted at preschoolers and elementary children, but any age child may come and enjoy the trunk games. We often have entire families come, and there are always several trunk games that youth enjoy as well. Each trunk includes a game that kids can play, as well as candy and prizes that they can take home.
Yes, each trunk offers the option of both candy or a prize. This supports the Teal Pumpkin Project cause by having non-food options available so all children can participate.
No, this is a great event for young children because we focus on fun and happy themes of fall and Halloween such as pumpkins, leaves, candy corn, etc.
Yes, the bounce house is inside. Step inside to warm up. You can also sit by a fire outside to warm up as you drink the free hot chocolate.
